Benjamin Latimer

is a musician, singer, actor, and writer who spends his days telling dad jokes, making puns, and committing to the bit.

Born and raised in Indianapolis, IN, Benjamin studied Music Composition at Ball State University and started his career performing in and leading a wide variety of bands all over the Midwest. After an unexpected opportunity to play Carl Perkins in a professional production of Million Dollar Quartet, Benjamin found himself swept up into the world of live theatre, and has happily performed there ever since. He has been fortunate enough to work in the capacity of actor, arranger, show writer, and director. He’s written and produced three original musicals and is particularly proud of his most recent production; a one man show titled The Fastest Dog in the West lovingly based off of the fantastical tales of his own pet, Stanley Clyde.

As soon as he discovered how well his distinct homogenization of musicality and on-stage antics fit right into the world of theme park entertainment, he never looked back. He has performed at and written for Cedar Point, Carowinds, Six Flags America, and Worlds of Fun and couldn’t be more excited about expanding that list as a member of the JMMD Team!
